MENTEITH ROAD CLOSURE AND REMOVAL OF EXCLUSION AREA AT GATESIDE- SEE BELOW.
Harrison MacGregor made the most of his time off yesterday and caught this cracking 5lb bow on a fine autumnal day at the Lake. Sink tip and boobies and snakes have been working. Best area that I heard of yesterday was International Bay. There was a good buzzer hatch at Gateside and a lot of surface feeding activity but lures caught the most fish. MORE CORMORANT RESISTANT

ROAD CLOSURE BETWEEN PORT OF MENTEITH AND THE FISHERIES. This is scheduled for tomorrow 18th of October and the permit is from 8am till 6pm and lasts until the 31st of October. It is unlikely to be closed sharp at 8am and very unlikely to last until the 31/10. However we wont know more until we speak to the engineers on site as they cannot be contacted :(. BEST TO COME VIA ARNPRIOR UNTIL WE KNOW MORE.
