August Catch Statistics from the Lake
The Lake looks like it might be set for a record catch year in terms of catch rate, as good catches were maintained through out the year due to the cool summer. The August catch data shows that 5.5 fish were netted per two man 8 hour day boat – this includes returned fish at 18.7% of the total catch. The mean weight of the fish in August was 2.2lbs.
Scottish Club Championship Semi-Final Results

Daily Record Champion of Champions Draw
The top 4 bag weights from each team automatically qualify for the Daily record Champion of Champions Final on the 16th October. Last year anyone who bagged up in the heats also qualified for the Champions Final. This year due to the Lake fishing very well in the summer heats, leading to around 40 individuals bagging up but not making the top 4 heaviest weights, it was decided to include these individuals in a ballot for the qualification to the Champions Final as there were insufficient boats to allow everyone to fish. Those successful in the ballot and through to the final are; D.Keenan, A.Lusk, G.Fleming, D.Avery, J.Crawford, J.McBride, J.Walker, A.Caisley, S.Lees, P.Edge, I.Muir, S.Barnes, T.Calderwood, C.Heck, J.Anderson, A.Brock, S.Robertson, E.Hawk, J.Gardner, C.Murray, S.Corsa, K.Neely, T.Graham, D.Bonnington, J.Buchanan, Keith Renton.
