Buzzer fishing at the weekend was still exceptional but this week has turned a bit seasonal with a lot of rain and wind – not ideal for buzzers or dries. The video was taken this afternoon – there is still plenty of sheltered spots away from the north eastern shores.
We had a booking mix up at the weekend. Our fault – and hopefully not to be repeated. All anglers should make sure they have an email booking reservation from bookingonline@menteith-fisheries.co.uk.
The Fario 2022 Boat League starts tomorrow 11th May at 6 pm with new rules limiting fly size and standing (similar to the Scottish Clubs). All last years members are being emailed a reminder as I write this. It is expected that the new rules will tempt some seasoned individual to return. We are always looking new members and this is an ideal friendly comp for stillwater novices to learn new skills.
REMEMBER OUR EVENINGS NOW START FROM 5.30PM (INCLUDING THE SCOTTISH CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS).
On Saturday 14th we are holding the first heat of the Scottish Club Championships and the following trios reperesenting their clubs are making an appearance: Ardrossan Eglinton AC “A”,
