We are up top date with bookings as of 29/1/19 so nobody should be waiting to hear. If you have sent a booking request but not heard back, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please also read the information below…
We have a new booking system this year with all bookings required to have a contact email and telephone number (preferably a mobile) and all confirmation will be by email unless there is a very good excuse. Until Feb 14th bookings can be made by emailing the fishery at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org. These requests are then manually placed in the database by Lake staff (usually Connor) and a confirmation email is sent to you generated by the programme from email@example.com. We need to do this first stage ourselves to ensure that all the big club and competition bookings are in place prior to accepting smaller bookings. You will receive a confirmation booking for each shift booked (i.e. each day or evening gets a separate confirmation) from booking firstname.lastname@example.org. If we have not been able to accommodate all your bookings you will get a separate email (usually from email@example.com) detailing your unsuccessful dates.
Some emails have been lost in the spam box – so you will need to check this box (hotmail deletes spam after 10 days and gmail after 30). Shouldnt be a problem when the system is open to the public as you will know to look. Good idea to add firstname.lastname@example.org to your contact list to stop it going to spam.
Booking Availability. The online booking portal shows when boats are available on all devices. It shows actual number available on all pcs and laptops (on a mouse hover over the date). This does not appear to work on iphones and requires perseverence on samsungs but does work on the latter. Where boat number available does not pop up on hover with your phone the only way to establish if there is space for your booking (when you require more than one boat) is to try to book.
Wheely boat, rod hire, tuition and any other requests including non-email booking requests should be made to email@example.com or by phoning the fishery (01877 385664). When summer arrives, the late day shift (2 till 10/11pm) can be booked the week before by booking the day and evening shift on that day and telephoning to let us know you will be arriving at mid day.
