Great to see nearly everybody allowed back. On Monday 26th April our friends from England and Wales can make an appearance. Our tackle shop will be open from Monday 26th but self distancing measures will apply and for a while still – it will be expedient and safer to continue to pay online if possible.
Some great bags at the weekend and on Friday . The buzzer experts have been doing well on foating line with a buzzer fab combo. Sink tip lines with something like a cormorant or fab on the tip with buzzers/diawls has also worked and a couple of boats had reasonable catches on the dries today when they came up. Top areas have been Hotel Bay, Lochend/tod Hole and the Butts and Gateside Bay. So far this season we have stocked with 2500 fish.
We are looking for confirmation of Wellington AC’s booking for this Saturday (4 boats) and good luck to those taking part inthe Sierra Pairs on Sunday. Doors are open 8am and the comp kicks off at 10am – or earlier if anyone is ready. Please settle your sierra boat fees online as our shop is not allowed to open until Monday.
We were shocked to hear about the loss of Gary Johnson last week. Gary was a lake regular, and memories of this well respected big guy will remain with us.
Our thoughts and condolences are with his family and friends.
