Wet and windy weather has reduced temperature and clarity – but the latter is still good. Great sport on the dry fly when conditions permit – if it windy the fish are still near the top. Best areas (in strong westerly and south westerly winds) have been Gateside, Malling, Dog Isle and Rookery but the other drifts are largely unfished. Today the fishery was nice and quiet and regulars Tam Ward and Jim Davie said they had their best ever day on the Lake with over 50 fish on dries.
