6ft Water Temp: 14C, Clarity (secchi disk): 2.5m. Get the thermals on - as the return of winter is expected in the next few days with snow and sleet forecast for Friday’s Scottish Club Championship Final at the Lake (hopefully the forecast will be inaccurate). The lake is fishing well just now and it is difficult to pick out hot spots. I’d probably head for Kate’s Brae, Lochend and Hotel Bay area with a blob and a cormorant on a sink tip.
Another beauty from the Lake was caught yesterday by Nat Pender of Cumbernauld – it took an orange blob in Gateside Bay.
Scottish Club Championships
Kenny Miller tells me that all anglers fishing the SCC who bagged up in the heats are to qualify for the Champion of champions on the 17th October. If in doubt - contact Kenny.
