3rd June 2008
6ft Water Temp: 17C, Clarity (secchi disk): 2.0m - A big warming of the water in the last few days and a drop in clarity. The Lake is currently fishing well with many big fish of around 6lbs in the bags. Tam ward of Cumnock had 6 fish over the 6lb mark in his two outings last week. Alan Brock of Crieff took 5 fish for 28lbs 4oz and returned a further 5 in Wednesday Night’s Boat League. Steve Docherty of Fort William had 34 fish in one session with 31 returned. The fish are not necessarily deep and have been taken on sinker and floater, with blobs, diawl bachs and buzzers taking the majority of the fish. Hot spots of recent are Hotel Bay and behind Dog Isle but most of the drifts with perhaps the exception of the Butts have fish.
