Some strong westerlies this week have piled
the fish on to the Road Shore – which has fished well during the
calmer periods, but anglers have also reported good catches from all the
drifts. Despite the wind the boats managed to get out each day –
just. We have had huge hatches of buzzers this week and this is what the
fish are on, although the lures blob, booby etc are always tempting. Method
of the week when conditions prevail has been the static buzzer.
