A week of good catches at the Lake and with over 30% of the fish returned
in the Lexus heats - not a set back for future catches. Notable congregations
of fish in International Bay, Inch Cuan (Dog Isle), Gateside Bay, Rookery
and the Malling shore were reported today. Small flies on a sink tip or
dries have been popular. Huge shoals of fry are now evident (pin head
and around 3g). There are still some boats left for the early morning
shifts on the 21st of July and the 4th of August, the times are 4am to
9am (gates open 3am). Electric engines only (before 8.30am).
