6ft Water Temp: 23oc Secchi Disk Gateside: 2.2m

The bright sun and hot temperatures has made it more weather for sunbathing than fishing and it has sent the fish into the deeper water. So fast sinking lines and Boobys, Blobs and big lures fished slow seem to be the order of the day. Best areas are the deep water up near the cages and Malling shore.

Night no 9 was won by David Paterson with 3 fish for 6lb 10oz. Second was Jim Litster with 2 fish 6lb 6oz (capped). Third was Ian Campbell with 3 fish 5lb 6oz. Heaviest fish of the night was 7lb 6oz and was caught by Jim Litster. Jim is still in the lead of the league.

12th Evening Heat; Scottish Club Championships Results
Sponsored by The Daily Record and Angling Centre Stirling was won by Leslie and Glenrothes (R Anderson, S Anderson and N Duff) with 8 fish 22lb 12oz. Second Sana with 5 fish 10lb 14oz. Third was Ardrossen and Egglington with 4 fish 8lb 2oz. these teams go through to the semi finals on the 29th September. Top rod was Raymond Anderson (Leslie and Glenrothes) with 4 fish 12lb 14oz. Second was Steven Anderson (Leslie and Glenrothes) With 4 fish 10lb 8oz.Third was Jim Hunter (Sana) with 3 fish 6lb 10oz. Fourth was J Irvine (Darvel Kingfishers) with 2 fish 4lb 12oz.These individuals go forward to the Champion on Champions on 22nd of October. Heaviest fish of the night was a cracking rainbow at 10lb 13oz and caught by Raymond Anderson of Leslie and Glenrothes. The 54 Anglers caught 34 fish weighing 96lb 15oz.
