Scottish Police Championship. The 36 competitors

Scottish Club Championships Results: The Third Heat of the Scottish club championships sponsored by the Daily Record and Bowmore Whisky was held on the evening of 21st May . 16 three men teams caught 56 fish for 117lbs. Qualifying teams: 1st Lindean Fishery B with 7 fish for 16lbs, 2nd were Port Glasgow B with 6 fish for 14lbs 6oz and 3rd were Balforn Piscatorial with 9 fish for 12lbs 15oz. Individuals through to the Champion of Champions are 1st A. Blair (P.Glasgow, slow glass, white cat, Malling), 2nd J.Milne (Dunfermline), 3rd J.Kyle (Balfron) and 4th G.Niven (Lothian and Borders).
