Weekly Report
Issued 7th June 2005

Water temperature has increased dramatically in the last week with a rise to 17C. Clarity is on the rise as and has increased to 2.2m. Fishing has been in Hotel Bay/Reedy Point, Malling Shore and Stable Point/Gateside Bay. It got a bit harder yesterday, possibly due to the brightness and heat followed by a cold evening. It may be that the fish will start to be found deeper in the deeper areas if the temperature continues to rise. Current techniques are near the surface with buzzers/diawl bachs and a bit deeper with boobies.

May Catch Statistics.
Catches in May were 3.9 fish per boat for 7.9lbs (9% of fish were returned) – a slight improvement on last May’s catch.
