Water temperature continues upwards and is now 12C – this has coincided with some good buzzer sport on floating lines with a ghost tip or slow intermediates. Clarity has improved and was 2.7m on 3rd May. Hot spots have of recent been Hotel bay, road shore, Tod Hole, the Butts, Heronry, Malling shore and around stable point. Weekly stocking will take place on Wednesday 4th.

Club results: Scottish Team (7 boats) 36 fish for 80+ pounds (~80 returned),Leslie Llanilar (5 boats) 29 fish for 68lbs, Thack of Kilmarnock (6 boats) 72 fish for 172lbs, Stanley AC (8 boats) 52 fish for 128lbs, Newmarket AC (5 boats) 41 fish for 94lbs, CIBA (6 boats) 35 fish for 60lbs, BPAC 7 boats 34 fish for 74lbs, Lothian and Borders Police (12 boats) 68 fish for 130lbs, Tayside Police 4 boats 17 fish for 35lbs.

All day boats are now fully booked until 16th May. There are plenty of evening boats available.
