Temperature at 6ft 16.5C; Clarity 1.8m.
Water temperature dropped quickly this week and the fish have made a return to shallower water with the shooting butts and Lochend producing catches again. Hot spots are still Kate’s Brae to the middle and the Point of the Rookery. Top of the water tactics have been popular with Daddies, Boobies and snatchers doing well but with a decrease in clarity of late, and the approach of some more big fishing events - a return to intermediate lines and lures might be in the offing.
