Report: 10th June to 16th June 2003
Current water temperature has risen 2 degrees and is now 19C
at a depth of 6ft, secchi disk clarity is excellent at 3.5m.
The hot weather is likely to mean the fish are beginning to congregate
over the usual deeps (Heronry/Arnmach Deeps/ Roadshore Deeps/ Gateside
Bay/ Inchmahome North and the Rookery. However the clarity of the water
means that deeper lying fish can still see activity at the surface and
thus all tactics are proving to be worth a try - depending on conditions.
Recent best bags have been a high D and booby at Gateside and dries “out
in the middle”.
